Buy A Brick 2008As you may or not be aware there was a Special General Meeting held at the clubhouse on Thursday 20st 8pm inn order to get members approval on the proposed modification / extension to the clubhouse, changing room and surrounding area. The vote was unanimous in favour of the proposal and it is anticipated work will commence in May of this year, which will take some four months to complete.
So with this in mind I am now asking all those members who showed their intention to purchase a brick for £50 each with they own wording 13 letters/spaces on each of two lines, please see the web site for a form, or get one from behind the bar, please complete and return marked for the attention of John Berry or Bryn Owen. There are some of you who have already given a cheque for a brick, will see that they have not yet been presented to the Development Fund as we were awaiting final confirmation we may therefore be contacting you to amend the dates and initial the cheque if they are not accepted by the bank.
All bricks purchased will be on show in the new building at a level of approximately one metre above the floor level and up to a height of two metres.
So come on you members, dig deep, help the future players at all levels with these new facilities and let’s see the club grow from strength to strength over the coming years.
